Westmark Tower
Private residential apartment
Within this 3 bedroom apartment Milc looked to instil a sense of relaxation by creating a calming and luxurious sanctuary for the client. A neutral colour palette of soft pastels tones and deep blues were used for depth and interest.
For the living space, inspiration was drawn from organic shapes and reflected in the curved sofa and coffee table. This created gentle focal points that also worked flawlessly with other pieces within the room, all centralised around a large circle rug. This detail was combined with a variety of textures and materials from marble, metallic details and panelling.
The flow into the bedroom spaces reflect that of the living room – glass pendants in organic form frame the subtle headboard in the principle and second bedrooms, off set against a metallic textured wallpaper giving a luxurious feel. Light coloured case goods help to keep a spacious and airy feeling within the room, whilst dark piping on cushions ground the light scheme, picking up on darker tones.
A scheme which is beautifully functional whilst maintaining a luxurious aesthetic.
